COVID-19 town, police, election update

The town office and the police department office is closed to in-person business due for precautionary measures during the COVID-19 crisis. The town office will open March 23 for voting business ONLY Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-noon.

In an effort to reduce crowd exposure at the polling place, voters in Woodruff are encouraged to request an absentee ballot for the April 7 and May 12 elections. The easiest way to do that is to visit myvote.wi.gov. It’s a very simple process and only takes a minute. Once you hit submit, the request automatically gets sent to the clerk’s office from the Wisconsin Elections Commission. You may also request an absentee ballot in writing to the clerk’s office. Hours are restricted for voting purposes only, 10 a.m.-noon. We anticipate a higher than usual volume of absentee ballots these next two election cycles, so please submit your requests sooner than later.
