RESOLUTION 2021-6

RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH SUPERVISORY DISTRICT LINES

TO CREATE WARDS FOR THE TOWN OF WOODRUFF

 

WHEREAS, the Town of Woodruff, Oneida County, Wisconsin, is responsible for ward division and designating polling places in accordance with Section 5.15 of the Wisconsin Statutes, and

WHEREAS, on the 5th day of October, 2021, the Town of Woodruff made and passed a motion to redefine the boundary lines of the three wards of Woodruff to accommodate the County Supervisory District and for towns of a population of 1,000 or higher based on the 2020 Census.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Woodruff Town Board does hereby redefine the three wards as Ward 3 lying in District 18 and Wards 1 and 2 lying in District 16 and depicted in the attached map.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that for all voting purposes, the above wards will use one common polling place, which is named the Woodruff Town Hall and the address is 1418 1st Ave., Woodruff, Wis.

WHEREAS, the Town Board of Woodruff on Oct. 5, 2021, adopted by a three-fourths vote, Resolution #2021-01.
