The Town of Woodruff is in need of poll workers. There will be no more elections this year, but there will be three - possibly four - in 2022. The town board will be appointing the next term of election workers in December, so individuals are asked to contact the town by Dec. 1.
Being an election official is an important decision that requires commitment and the desire to be a public servant. It can feel very rewarding to know you’re serving as a gatekeeper to democracy, and it’s a nice way to get to know other people in your town.
Poll workers are paid for training and elections, and participate in shifts Election Day. Training is required every two years, but it’s not generally time-consuming.
Apply to be a poll worker in Woodruff by calling the town office at 715-356-9421. We would love to have you on board.
